Our private practice is designed to give you the tools and treatments to manage your conditions. We specialize in primary care, endocrinology, and diabetes. We start with our facility by making sure we have the latest technology. Next we make sure to have the best staff on hand. We are Board Certified and Registered in many different fields and have a vast knowledge in how to approach your conditions. We make sure that training and continued education is a top priority. We also take the time to build our relationships with our patients. We believe in treating everyone as part of the family.

Primary Care

Our goal is to make sure you are as healthy as you can be. We are able to treat you for some acute illnesses. We also believe in education being key in living a healthy lifestyle. We can give you information and benefits about eating healthier and exercising. Preventive Health is a major focus in our practice.

Endocrinology

There are times that you might feel fatigued or a little weak without any reasons why. Maybe you didn’t get enough sleep? Or you missed lunch? Or maybe there is something a little more serious than that. Your endocrine system controls the hormones in your body. Which regulate your metabolism, growth, movement, and many other things.

At The Salem Center, we are able to run the necessary tests that can detect if you have a hormonal-imbalance. We will then be able to put together a plan to help you manage your condition and monitor the imbalance with regular check-ups. The earlier we are able to detect your condition the easier it is to maintain and to prevent further damage.

Diabetes Services

At the Salem Center we are experts in helping to diagnose and treat your diabetes. We have Certified Educators and Registered Dieticians that will help educate you on the importance of eating a healthier diet and to help manage your condition.

We also offer diabetic eye exams that help to detect glaucoma and cataracts that are most commonly found in older adults with diabetes. Another condition we look for is called Diabetic Retinopathy that can become a serious complication that can affect your eyes.

We also make sure to have the latest equipment when it comes to monitoring your glucose levels. We recently started using Libre, it is a needle free piece of equipment that allows you to read your results from your smartphone. This has become one of the front runners in glucose monitoring and our promise to you we will continue to find better ways!
